It’s never too early to start decorating for Halloween at our house! This year we are making black paper flying bats with neon designs in addition to our usual pumpkins and spiders!
One of our FAVE outdoor art activities is sidewalk chalk paint. It’s such a super fun sensory art experience that works well for kids (or adults) of all ages!
Challenge your kids to create letter art for as many letters of the alphabet as they can. They can either choose to represent the letters of their name, or try to tackle the entire alphabet
My favorite holiday is coming up, and I cannot wait!! I absolutely love Halloween because it’s a time of year when you can be as creative as you want. These midnight DIY trick or treat bags are easy to make and fun to decorate for kids of any age. I call them “midnight” because they require creating art on a black as night background. Or if you’re like me, you might find yourself crafting at the stroke of midnight to finish a project!
Nature has always been my favorite canvas. I live in Southern California, and although there’s not an abundance of leaves to paint there are still options that don’t include palm fronds. If you live where there are no leaves, or they are currently covered in snow, keep in mind that you can use all of the following techniques on leaves that you cut out of paper!
