Oh my goodness – is it really January already?! Where did 2017 go?!
Starting off 2018 on the right foot with my notebook, I decided I would do my organizing by decorating my pages using rainbow colors for January. The other months will get new designs later on!
This year I’m using the Flipside Double Sided Notebook as my planner. It’s awesome because one half of the notebook has blank pages and then you can flip it over it has lined paper too. So handy for lists or doodling! And you can tell which side you are on by the cover color.
Planning a party for kids is exciting and something to look forward to; however, at times it can quickly become a big production and put a lot of stress on moms and dads. Today we want to help you with a couple quick ideas on how to put on a beautiful and enjoyable rainbow birthday party for kids (and hopefully a little more stress free).
I LOVE art supplies. I can’t get enough of them. As you can see from my Instagram page, the only thing I love more than art supplies is rainbows. When it comes to taking my art supplies on the go, it’s important for me to have a carrying case that’s not too big or too small, but something just right. Something Goldilocks would approve of. I really didn’t think such a case existed until I saw the OOLY Mighty Pouch. I can’t believe how much I can fit into this expandable case. I’m often taking supplies on the go for both myself and my 6-year-old so this pouch works great for both of us. You can even fit a mini iPad inside! While I love the bright colors that the Mighty Pouch comes in, I thought it would be fun to create a personalized pencil pouch and make it more my own. Below are a few ways to personalize your own Mighty Pouch!
Our daughter is in a constant mode of creating. She loves to knit and sew and seems to be in an endless loop of sketching, planning, and making fabric store shopping lists. She has several projects in various stages going on at once — all of which creates a lot of fantastic creative mess. Using Color-Pop and Pocket Pal notebooks as creative journals have been such a great way for my daughter to focus her energy and work through her creative process. I could see any kiddo using them for whatever creative projects they’ve got in the works: LEGO designs, story writing, nature sketching. Journals are an excellent tool for kids’ imaginations!
While I love crafting with my son at our kitchen table, it was important for me to make a creative space for him that’s all his own now that he’s getting older. I had three goals in mind when creating his space, which I’ll share with you below to help you create your own craft space.
