OOLY Products Needed

Other Items Needed:

  • Toilet paper rolls
  • Scissors (adult supervision required)
  • Paper
  • Googly eyes
  • Macaroni
  • Glue (school glue or hot glue could work with adult supervision)

Step 1: Start by pushing down each edge on one side of the paper roll to make the owl ears.

Step 2: Cut small triangles for the owl’s beaks.

Step 3: Add glue where you’d like to place the owl’s wings or feathers. This is where the macaroni will be added! Make sure to let it dry before painting (placing it in the sun will help it dry quickly).

Step 4: Paint the beaks with lil’ poster paint pods – glitter and neon

Step 5: Paint the cardboard, not including the macaroni.

Step 6: Next, paint the macaroni in a contrasting color of lil’ poster paint pods

Step 7: Let the paint dry in the sun!
