Looking for a clever way to upcycle your toilet paper rolls? Unleash your creativity with this macaroni owl craft using OOLY products. Using empty toilet paper rolls is a great way to repurpose an everyday product into fun ideas. This easy DIY craft is one that the whole family will love! Time Duration: 60-90 minutes Skill Level: Intermediate OOLY Products Needed: Other Items Needed:
  • Toilet paper rolls
  • Scissors (adult supervision required)
  • Paper
  • Googly eyes
  • Macaroni
  • Glue (school glue or hot glue could work with adult supervision)
Directions: Step 1: Start by pushing down each edge on one side of the paper roll to make the owl ears. Step 2: Cut small triangles for the owl’s beaks. Step 3: Add glue where you’d like to place the owl’s wings or feathers. This is where the macaroni will be added! Make sure to let it dry before painting (placing it in the sun will help it dry quickly). Step 4: Paint the beaks with lil' poster paint pods - glitter and neon. Step 5: Paint the cardboard, not including the macaroni. Step 6: Next, paint the macaroni in a contrasting color of lil' poster paint pods. Step 7: Let the paint dry in the sun!
